About The Behavioral Roadmap

A BCBA who lives it.

I spent years mastering the science of behavior. Then I got my own diagnosis — and realized I'd been the subject all along.

My Story

Four chapters. One through-line.

The credential

I hold a Master's degree and my Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential. I've worked in clinical settings, schools, and homes — doing the actual work of behavior analysis with real people in real situations. I know the literature. I know the methodology. I know what a well-written behavior intervention plan looks like, and I know what it looks like when one fails.

The diagnosis

I was late-diagnosed neurodivergent as an adult. That's a sentence that changes everything about how you read your own history. Suddenly, decades of 'trying harder' and 'just being more organized' and 'why can't you just...' resolve into something with a name and a neurological basis. It wasn't a character flaw. It was a brain difference I'd been white-knuckling through without the right tools.

The gap

Here's what I noticed: the clinical ABA literature is rigorous and often brilliant. And it is almost entirely inaccessible to the people who need it most. It's written for practitioners, in practitioner language, for practitioner audiences. Meanwhile, neurodivergent individuals and their families are left to navigate a system that talks about them constantly and to them almost never. I decided to do something about that.

Why The Behavioral Roadmap

The Behavioral Roadmap is the definitive resource hub designed to navigate the complexities of modern behavior analysis. We bridge the gap between clinical theory and real-world application, transforming complex behavioral science into clear, structured, and actionable paths forward. Every individual — and every professional — deserves a clear path to progress. Through meticulously curated digital downloads, comprehensive study tools, and master curricula, The Behavioral Roadmap ensures you never have to navigate the journey alone.

What I Believe

The principles behind the writing.

Accuracy over accessibility

I never simplify to the point of distortion. The science is the science — we translate it, we don't dilute it.

Dignity is non-negotiable

Every person I write about — or for — is a full human being. Compliance is not the goal. A meaningful life is.

Lived experience is data

A late diagnosis isn't a footnote. It's a lens. It shapes what I notice, what I question, and what I refuse to take for granted.

Ethics, always

All content adheres to the BACB Ethics Code. I don't give clinical advice. I give you the information to have better conversations with the people who do.

Want to work together?

I offer content services for organizations and practitioners who want to do better by the neurodivergent people they serve.
